Dear QAA Parents,
Given the major school change you're facing for next year, it's important you find a school that will be the right fit for your daughter and you next year. We at Trafalgar do not want you to rush an important decision, and want to extend a friendly invitation to visit Trafalgar at your own pace, on a day that suits you.
Trafalgar School for Girls looks forward to welcoming QAA girls and families, and introducing you to an excellent school sometimes described as a "hidden jewel," even though we're 126 years old. Trafalgar is centrally located in Montreal, and is surprisingly easy to access from the West Island by public transit or our West Island bus service. If you haven't yet considered our school or visited us, we're confident you'll be pleasantly surprised. In the days immediately following QAA's unexpected announcement, you may have hastily sought a quick school solution for 2014-15 that may not best fit your daughter, and not even considered Traf.
You'll be impressed by our small classes, excellent academic and co-curricular programs, and a warm, caring environment that helps girls succeed.
Some quick facts about Trafalgar you should know:
• substantial financial aid is available;
• flexible payment schedules are available;
• 25% of Traf girls live in West Island communities, from Dorval west to Hudson/St. Lazare;
• we’ve served Montreal-area girls and families for 126 years;
• our school has always had a small enrollment, and carries no debt;
• our caring faculty (including an excellent past QAA teacher) is committed to helping all their students succeed.
Please call Carolyn Reich, our Admissions Coordinator, to arrange a day to visit Traf (your daughter can even sit in on some of our classes.) If your daughter is concerned about not knowing anyone here, we're very open to her visiting us in the company of QAA friends she might want to invite to join her. Whatever the case, we guarantee her and you a warm, personalized welcome.
