The Awareness Committee is open to all students. Meeting twice a month, the Committee discusses issues that face today's teens. The Committee has arranged for guest speakers and workshops that have dealt with topics such as depression, drugs and alcohol, and body image and eating disorders. Members also maintain a bulletin board that addresses current issues. Working closely with the Guidance Counselor, members plan creative ways to make students aware of resources that are available to them.
