The 2008 winter expedition of the Outers Club took place at "The Round Hearth" in Eastman, Quebec from February 22 - 24. As usual, a quirky announcement inticed the girls to join the club. Over twenty-five students joined teachers Greg Scruton, Graeme Phillips and Louise Jarrett for a weekend of outdoor camping. Campers build their own quinzhee, cook outdoors, (Sample Menu) and brave the winter weather all in the name of fun! The girls cross-country ski during the day and gather around the camp fire at night before crawling into their snow homes. Take a look at the PowerPoint presentation that the girls saw before departing on their trip.
