Congratulations to the Choir and Senior Band!

Traf musicians traveled to New York City on April 8, 2010 and returned home on April 11 with two more awards to add to the wall in the Music Room. As participants at the Heritage Music Festival, the Choir won Gold and the Senior Band won Silver for their performances.

A highlight of the Choir's performance was the "Mi'Kmaq Honour Song" in which various choristers sung the roles of owls, chickadees, loons, and wolves.  The Band's rendition of "A Shaker Melody" was impressive.

The annual Spring Concert will be held Thursday, May 6 at 7:00 p.m. at the school. Parents, grandparents, alumnae, and friends of the school are invited to attend.
