Over 100 families visited Trafalgar's Open House on Saturday, September
26, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Our Open House provided our visiting
families a unique,
"self-guided" opportunity to tour the school at their own pace.
Visiting students had their "visitor's passport" stamped at
various stations throughout the school and entered to win a Traf
sweatshirt. All areas of the school were filled with lively activities
and
displays, with our staff, students, alumnae and parents on hand to
welcome everyone and answer questions.
Trafalgar renovated and expanded its facilities substantially over the
summer of 2006 in order to give our students an even better learning
environment and experience. A new performance space/stage, a completely
renovated gym, a new music room and science lab, a new student entrance
and cafeteria space, a kiln room, air conditioning: these are among the
highlights of the physical improvements to our school. In the spring of
2008 the computer lab was updated with over twenty new iMacs and during
the summer of 2009 another fleet of twenty-four new iMacs were added.
If you did not make it to our Open House, interested families can learn more about our facilities and
programs by taking a personal tour of the school during regular school
hours.
