Thank you for visiting the Trafalgar School for Girls website. You have arrived here because you are considering an all-girls education for your daughter in an atmosphere that supports and shapes your daughter’s academic and personal potential.

As a Trafalgar Old Girl (TOGA - Class of ’92), and having fond memories of my five years at Traf, I can testify to the breadth of opportunities and individual attention offered each student. I have first-hand experience in seeing how Trafalgar’s caring, nurturing environment served to develop my classmates into confident, capable, community-minded professional women. I intend on enrolling my daughter here once she completes her elementary education.

I have a son in private school this year, and I remember how choosing the right school for him was such a daunting experience. My role is to answer any questions you may have and to support you and guide you through the process.

The National Coalition of GIrls Schools has produced an excellent video that speaks volumes on the statistical evidence about the benefits of an all-girls education. Click on this link to watch the video produced by the NCGS.

Application to Grade 7 is normally made in the early fall of the year prior to the desired year of entry.

Applications to higher grades can be made at any time and are handled on an individual basis.

Should you have missed the current application deadlines and are still interested in applying, please contact me at (514) 935-2644, #227 or email admissions@trafalgar.qc.ca.

Please submit the completed application along with supporting documentation to the Admissions Office as soon as possible. Please note that a Certificate of Eligibility (Quebec authorization for English Education) is required. Once the application forms and necessary documents are received, an admissions visit date will be arranged at a convenient time for you and your daughter. This visit will include the entrance evaluation, a meeting with our Principal, and the opportunity to experience a few classes designed for our visiting students.

Should you be interested in transferring to Trafalgar from a current high school, please contact me. We are here to make the transition a smooth one.

Sincerely,

Tara Dworzak, BSW
