The Trafalgar School community is a strong one thanks to the many parents, alumnae, and friends who volunteer and contribute their time and resources-all which enhances school life for our students. Parents play a key role and can be seen in the school on a daily basis whether on the Advisory Board, volunteering in the Uniform Shop, or participating on committees for events and fundraisers. We help to match the expertise and resources of our parents with the needs of the school. The students and staff are very fortunate to have the energetic support of Traf parents and we appreciate and welcome everyone's involvement.
Traf Staff Says Thank-You to Traf Parents!
Staff Appreciation Week was February 10-14 and the parents pulled out all the stops to make our faculty and staff feel appreciated. They involved the students in the festivities as well. From the decorated Staff Lounge on Monday morning, to home-made smoothies, fresh bagels, hot chocolate & home baking, a candy bar, goody bags, certificates of appreciation, and the most decadent Valentine's luncheon to end the week, the Traf family celebrated what it means to be a member of our wonderful school.
Thank you to the Chairs of the Staff Appreciation Committee Andrea Yampolsky Marshall, Simone Blatt, and Mary Kolivas who organized an energetic team of parent volunteers whose creativity, baking, and contributions to the week were appreciated by all.
Enjoy these photos and words of thanks from our faculty and staff.
