Counseling & Academic Support
The school provides the following support services to Trafalgar students and families:
Personal Counseling
Our school counselor is available three days per week to students seeking confidential advice and guidance of a personal nature. She is available also to parents who have questions related to the non-academic well-being of their daughters.
College and Career
Curricular time is devoted in Secondary IV-V so that students can gain a better understanding of academic and career options open to them after high school. Our counselor also provides individual advice to girls exploring post-secondary academic options. Additionally, students in Secondary III-V participate in an annual Career Speakers Day and job shadowing exercises.
Our Academic Support Coordinator works with students, parents, and teachers to plan any tutorial or academic accommodations for students needing help in meeting the organizational and learning challenges of our programmes.
