TRAF + MCGILL EDUCATORS JOIN FORCES AT CONFERENCE KEYNOTE

On October 25th the National Coalition of Girls’ Schools' virtual symposium on Girls as Ethical, Globally Minded Changemakers launched with a keynote panel moderated by Branksome Hall’s Dr. Mira Gambhir, and featuring Dr. Claudia Mitchell and Dr. Lisa Starr from McGill’s Department of Integrated Studies in Education, and Traf’s Head of School, Ms. Nikidis.

The group offered reflections on  “how students and educators have shifted their understanding of learning and teaching during the pandemic; how girls are forging a path of action and agency to create true societal change in which all voices are heard; and how radical change can clear a path for innovation.” (Branksome Hall FB post).

In addition to the keynote, a wide variety of peer-led breakout sessions took place over the course of this two-day virtual event.
