GIRLS FOR THE CURE A GREAT SUCCESS

Communications Office
The rain didn't dampen the enthusiasm of participants in the 25th annual Girls for the Cure walk.

Trafalgar girls joined forces with students from other Montreal girls schools in this powerful fundraiser, raising money for cancer treatments and services at St. Mary’s Hospital Centre and to heighten the awareness of the toll this disease takes on the health and wellness of women in our community.

The atmosphere at McGill’s Currie Gym was inspiring, especially after moving testimonials, a motivating speech from Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau, and music by Sara Diamond. Special thanks to the Girls for the Cure committee for putting on a great pep rally to get Traf energized, and for their commitment to the cause. Thanks also to Mme Gaulin and Ms. Ruffini for all their hard work as the Advisors for this activity.

Trafalgar raised over $13,000 for Girls for the Cure this year. Thank you for your generosity!
