PUTTING THE CLIMATE FIRST
Thanks to the generosity of Old Girl Joan Foster ‘64, a group of curious Trafalgar students and their chaperones had the opportunity to be a part of the Climate First Tour when it touched down at the Rialto Theatre this week. Environmentalist David Suzuki, activist and diplomat Stephen Lewis, and rights activist Ellen Gabriel spoke passionately about the current issues facing youth as they inherit the challenges of a dramatically changing planet. The overarching goal of the tour Climate First Tour is to urge Canadians to consider environmental issues as they prepare to head to the polls.
