TRAF CONTRIBUTES TO UNIVERSITY RESEARCH PROJECT

Trafalgar is proud to contribute to important research into the complex causes of declining bee populations around the world.
There are over 1,000 crops that rely on bees and other pollinators, so addressing the potential threat of climate change and other factors is crucial.

The University of Guelph Bees@Schools program is placing wild-bee nests at schools across Canada in order to gather and learn from valuable data. Traf’s “bee hotel” will remain on its back field until the Fall, then it will be shipped back to the Centre for Biodiversity Genomics for analysis.
