VIRTUAL CAMP FOR GIRLS IN GRADES 4, 5, 6

Trafalgar’s SumHer in the City online virtual maker camp will introduce girls to the STEAM fields through critical making and playful learning.

Participants will engage in design challenges, as they explore using a variety of materials and manipulation techniques.

The program is scaffolded in a way that allows for students to successfully complete more challenging designs as the week progresses, as they build their skill sets and problem-solving abilities.
About the Director: Head of Trafalgar's Science Department and STEAM Program, Christianne Loupelle is the winner of a National Coalition of Girls’ Schools teaching award as well as a Prime Minister's Award for Teaching Excellence in STEAM. She is a graduate of EXPLO’s Critical Maker Camp for Educators.
