In late November a group of 11 Trafalgar students joined 500+ participants at a model (aka simulated) United Nations Conference, hosted by Dawson College.

Over the course of the three-day gathering, students played the role of delegates representing UN members, debating and discussing pressing international issues.
Each of the Traf girls wrote position papers to prepare for the event, and according to their advisor Ms. Fainsilber, each of them “achieved something special while at it—whether it was speaking in front of a large group of people, participating in a small group discussion, sharing ideas that became part of resolution papers, making new friends, or having more fun that they thought they would.”
The Club members look forward to participating in another Model UN event in the Spring.
