PETER AND THE STARCATCHER

This year’s senior play transported audiences to a world of pirates, starstuff, and imagination with Peter and the Starcatcher, a whimsical prequel to Peter Pan written by Rick Elice and based on the novels by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson. Under the direction of Ms. Violini, the cast and crew delivered three outstanding performances, blending humor, heart, and theatrical magic. From inventive sets and clever costumes to the sharp timing and emotional depth of the performers, every element of the production came together beautifully. Congratulations to the entire team for a job brilliantly done, and thank you to everyone who came out to support the show! And let’s not forget the sweet start to the evening, courtesy of the graduation fundraiser bake sale.

A NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR - The world of make-belief has always held a special place in my heart. I truly believe in the power of imagination, and the story of Peter Pan keeps that magic alive. It was a joy to explore how Peter became Peter Pan, how Black Stache transformed into Captain Hook, and how each beloved character found their place in this whimsical world. This play is rich with satire, magic, and storytelling, and this cast embraced every bit of it. With only a few months to prepare, all while balancing school, sports, and other commitments, what they accomplished is nothing short of extraordinary. Perhaps it was magic that brought us here… or maybe just a lot of hard work! - Ms. Violini

PETER AND THE STARCATCHER -La pièce des élèves de niveau senior a transporté le public dans un monde des pirates, de poussière d’étoiles et d’imagination avec Peter and the Starcatcher, un prélude fantaisiste à Peter Pan, écrit par Rick Elice et basé sur les romans de Dave Barry et Ridley Pearson. Sous la direction de Mme Violini, la troupe et l'équipe ont donné trois représentations exceptionnelles, mêlant humour, cœur et magie théâtrale. Décors inventifs et costumes ingénieux, chaque élément du spectacle a contribué à son succès. Félicitations à toute l’équipe et merci à tous ceux qui sont venus les encourager! Et un grand merci aussi à ceux qui ont soutenu la vente de pâtisseries au profit des finissants.

NOTE DU DIRECTRICE - Le monde de l'imaginaire a toujours occupé une place particulière dans mon cœur. Je crois vraiment au pouvoir de l'imagination, et l'histoire de Peter Pan entretient cette magie. Ce fut une joie d'explorer comment Peter est devenu Peter Pan, comment Black Stache s'est transformé en Capitaine Crochet, et comment chaque personnage bien-aimé a trouvé sa place dans ce monde fantaisiste. Cette pièce est riche en satire, en magie et en histoires, et la troupe en a embrassé chaque parcelle. Avec seulement quelques mois pour se préparer, tout en conciliant l'école, le sport et d'autres engagements, ce qu'ils ont accompli n'est rien de moins qu'extraordinaire. C'est peut-être la magie qui nous a amenés ici... ou peut-être simplement beaucoup de travail! - Mme Violini
