Explore the World of Science

At Trafalgar School for Girls, our Science program isn't just about textbooks–it's about exploration. We guide students from the essential scientific groundwork in Secondary I Science and Technology through advanced, specialized pathways by Secondary V. Students dive into concepts spanning the living world, chemical world, Earth and space, and technology and engineering. Throughout this journey, they constantly build crucial skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, experimentation, and real-world application. Whether a student is just starting to discover their curiosity about ecology or is ready to tackle advanced physics and chemistry, our program provides the challenges and support needed to fuel their unique scientific journey.

Science courses at Trafalgar School for Girls emphasize hands-on, experiential learning because we recognize that deep theoretical understanding alone isn't enough for adolescent learners. While the curriculum is rigorously focused on core concepts, it's vital for students, especially young women, to holistically tie their learning to the world around them. By actively engaging with science through experiments and real-world application, students can better see the relevance and potential of scientific concepts, which fosters deeper engagement, develops necessary skills, and helps connect classroom knowledge to their daily lives and future pathways in an increasingly complicated world.
