Enrichment Programs

At Trafalgar, learning doesn’t stop when the bell rings. We believe education should reach far beyond the classroom walls, inspiring curiosity, independence, and a deeper understanding of the world. Our special programs offer unique opportunities for students to grow as leaders, thinkers, and global citizens.

Model United Nations (Model UN)

For students with a passion for debate, diplomacy, and world events, Trafalgar’s Model UN team is the perfect place to sharpen critical thinking and persuasive speaking skills.
Participants represent countries in simulated UN committees, engaging in rigorous discussion and negotiation. Trafalgar delegates compete not only against fellow high school students, but also CEGEP and university participants — an experience that challenges them to think strategically and speak with confidence.
“Model UN taught me how to listen, negotiate, and stand my ground — all in the same conversation.” — Grade 11 Student
International Trips

Whenever possible, Trafalgar organizes enriching travel experiences during the spring break period, giving students the opportunity to explore new cultures and broaden their perspectives.
“Travelling abroad with my classmates pushed me out of my comfort zone. I came home more independent, mature, and confident in who I am.” — Grade 10 Student
World School Forum (Japan)

Trafalgar is proud to be the only Canadian school invited to the prestigious World School Forum in Japan — an annual gathering of students from around the world.
Grade 10 students are encouraged to apply for this once-in-a-lifetime program, with the trip taking place during their Grade 11 year. Over the course of the forum, students collaborate on global issues, share cultural perspectives, and form friendships with peers from every continent.
“The friendships I made at World School will last forever. It opened my eyes to how connected — and how different — our worlds can be.” — Grade 11 Student

Why It Matters

These programs embody our belief that real learning happens when students step into the wider world. Whether they’re debating policy at a Model UN conference, collaborating on international challenges in Japan, or experiencing a new culture first-hand, Trafalgar students return with skills, stories, and perspectives that stay with them for life.
