SPANISH CULTURAL OUTING
On May 21st, students in the Spanish option course enjoyed a walking tour to practice their language skills. The group visited the Las Americas bookstore and a local Spanish shop where they observed the craftsmanship of alpargatas, saw some of the ingredients and pans for an authentic paella, and sampled some caviar potato chips This cultural excursion finished at Arepera restaurant, providing an opportunity for students to apply their Spanish knowledge acquired throughout the year. SORTIE CULTURELLE EN ESPAGNOL- Cette semaine, les élèves du cours optionnel d’espagnol ont profité d’une merveilleuse visite guidée pour mettre en pratique leurs compétences linguistiques. Le groupe a visité la librairie Las Américas ainsi qu’une boutique espagnole locale, où les élèves ont pu observer le savoir-faire lié à la fabrication des alpargatas, apprendre les ingrédients essentiels d’une paella authentique et déguster de délicieux churros. La sortie culturelle s'est terminée au restaurant Arepera, offrant aux élèves l'occasion de mettre en pratique les connaissances en espagnol acquises tout au long de l'année.
